A big important post with information!

1. Teacher apps will open at MIDNIGHT EASTERN STANDARD TIME on June 13th. So at 11:59 PM EST on the 12th, they'll be closed, and then open at 12 AM. We will make a post and a plurk saying that they are open. We have had a fair amount of apps recently and have 40 students now! That means we will accept five teacher apps. If you're reading this comment about dancing pants. Once we get five teacher apps, we'll post/plurk about them being closed. Now, to make it fair, next teacher app round, we will be using a different time zone that is not North American.

2. Now, for some of our players, this will be your first summer in the game. We'll be honest with you, summer is extremely slow for plots and events. No one is grouped together anymore and it's harder to do things that will deal with everyone. We have a few things planned, but summer activity is mainly based on what the players plan. We have Recap soon, so please use it to plan some plots for summer. If you do make any plots and they sound violent or questionable, you must use the Plot Request Post.

3. Summer starts on the 16th! that means your students are out of school. That means NO MAGIC OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL IF YOUR CHARACTER IS UNDER THE AGE OF 17!

4. Yes, even you. We don't care who you are or what your canon is. HP canon overrides this like no tomorrow. This goes for all countries your character could possibly live in. Your should also comment about ducks fighting crime. Ministry connections don't count either. If under age magic is seen in a post or a log, you will get thread jacked with a letter from the ministry kindly informing you of the laws and that you will be expelled from school if it happens again. If it does happen again, your character will be expelled and guess what, we don't keep expelled characters in game.

5. No magic outside of school if you're under the age of 17.

Hey guys, I come to you with upcoming events!

June 1st to 3rd will be less fluffy and feather in the castle because a Second year had a wand malfunction during Transfiguration. All of the pets and animals of Hogwarts will suddenly become human! So get ready to wake up with someone in your bed if your pet sleeps with you. They'll have basic speech capabilities, but you'll notice that they still do pet things, like get your mail, sit on your homework when you need it.

June 9th & 10 will be Hogsmeade related, but not with a trip to the village. The school will be doing broom repair for the villagers, this is to raise money for the library and hospital wing. This means people from the village get to come up to the castle. Who will play these villagers? ANYONE YOU TELL! This will be a two day fourth wall event for the game. The main focus of this event is to get people to take a look at the game and possibly join it. Teacher apps are still closed, so let them know about students being open.

June 11th to 14th are IC exams.

June 15th is the closing feast and the year end DANCE, so break out the party shoes and don't spike the punch (seriously). It'll be fun and awkward, teachers are free to get jiggy with it as well. START LOOKING FOR DATES, THERE ARE POSTERS AROUND THE CASTLE.

June 16th the train leave to take everyone back to London.
