October Plotting post!

It's plotting time! October is coming and we have a bunch of new characters in the game so plot like the sky is the limit!


1. Make a thread for each of you characters. Do them separately and use subject lines for easy searching. Include their House and current year, that way you can catch anyone else they should know.
2. Tag the rumor thread with rumors for your characters only, unless you got the okay to include someone else.
3. Tag around to see if anyone is interested in plotting!
4. October has the start of Quidditch, a Hogsmeade trip, Halloween and the one year anniversary of the defeat of Voldemort.

More than one or two people would notice a really odd smooching session between Sollux and Eridan during a certain party, and oof, this kind of thing goes around like wild fire.

Maxim ~~ Gryffindor ~~ Fifth Year

He is mostly going to be trying to avoid Snow and not draw terrible amounts of attention to himself.

But he will still be up for match making shenanigans? He has already made one successful match up!

Thankfully, both Greg and Maxim made up! Greg's more than willing to help Maxim with school work, if he needs it, and he's also willing to be the one to give Maxim a slap on the head in case he's about to do something particularly bad for his survival rate with Snow.

And no matching him up with Victoria, that's just plain silly.

Eriq Slepner ++ Slytherin ++ Sixth Year

There will be more science club meetings! Also, looking for permission/assistance from teachers/nurses in regards to being able to dissect animals as a part of club activities.

Hoooooo boy, September's been a full on month for Karkat.

He's mostly trying to stay out of Snow's hair at this point but he's probably going to get himself into more trouble all things considered 8D but really, throw yourselves at this guy.

So, Dolly and Phil! I'm not too sure about what plots you have for her and Coulson doesn't really have any plots either. I don't think he's told her about his stint as a member of WAND yet though, so that would be interesting, perhaps?

I might have him drop by Dolly's office for a Calming Draught someday as well. He just has bad nights sometimes, you know?

Marceline Abadeer | Slytherin 4th and Slytherin Chaser

Some minor drama aside (read: Eridan kissed her while he was drunk), September's been fairly good to Marcie. More music club meetings are on the way and she's going to rope you all into playing at Rose's tea party >:]

Arthur Kirkland ♔ Slytherin ♔ Sixth Year

He'll be panicking once he knows the results of the Quidditch tryouts, and is still in all of the denial about how much he likes a certain Gryffindor.

And his buddy will be there to help him out if needed. Greg would recommend that Arthur look to some of his team mates for extra help with Quidditch, but he won't say no if Arthur asks him for help specifically.

Greg...still thinks the whole thing with Alfred is a bad idea unfortunately, but he's keeping mum about it because he doesn't know what's actually going on so far.

Roxas Cerridwen | Hufflepuff 4th and Hufflepuff Chaser

Yo! How about more CR between these two? I don't know how though, given Greg's a bit of a close-in, but perhaps they can bond over Quidditch first and then have that bromance later?

Phil Coulson | Defence against the Dark Arts Professor

Phil's starting to get into the swing of things as a professor. However, the arrival of Snow is pretty worrying for him; not for himself, but for Dolores. He'll be sending messages to his contacts at WAND for help.

I really need to get Phil out more with the students, I think. If you want any plots with Phil, lemme know!

Maxim doesn't know what to think about Coulson! On one hand, he kind of seems to believe in Maxim? And that's weird. But also, he is a teacher, and rrrr, teachers, resisting authority, rawr. So I dunno what plots could revolve around that?

Also, so cannot wait for Coulson and Bruce to interact, want to see the werewolves being werewolves at each other. Just saying. If Maxim could, he would sit there and popcorn.gif so hard.

Murdoc Donoghue - DADA for Slytherin and Ravenclaw

-Found out he has daughters
-Been arguing a lot with his precious baby son
-Ran swimming lessons and regretted it afterward
-Been in various love triangles without being entirely aware for some reason
-Told Sybille he'd marry her so she couldn't get deported
-Kissed a Strider and liked it
-Tried to make people shut up around Snow

Greg Lestrade | Hufflepuff Fifth Year & Hufflepuff Beater

Greg's made up with Maxim, has yet to make up with Rapunzel, and is taking his role as Quidditch captain quite seriously. He's taken on the responsibility of keeping the team in check and up to shape a little too seriously, even. He's also starting to think more of a certain Ravenclaw princess, but it's yet to get anywhere more than friendship yet. There's a serious character plot taking place with him sometime in January, so if you'd like to be part of it let me know and we'll develop the necessary CR to have you in!

Greg has his own social circle and doesn't get out of it much. If you'd like to have CR with Greg though, lemme know!

Also he and Merida should do more Captain banter; I liked that.

Ib Amano | Hufflepuff 1st Year

Ib's started Hogwarts! She's made friends with her fellow bitties, gotten to know and like her seniors, and is starting to have an interest in Herbology. Still, it's a bit hard for a Muggleborn to come to a whole new culture, and there's still a lot of culture shocks to come. She's just figured out that ghosts are good after a near unfortunate incident with Kankri that ended well, but there will be more questions from her in the future!

She joined the Art Club, tried out the Music and Food Club, but surprisingly settled on the Medical and Healer Club as a second club. She's also surprisingly gotten along pretty well with Herbert, Eriq and Peter.

Also, she developed a bit of a school-girl crush on her senpai, Shinra. She doesn't know that Shinra and Gamzee are together yet, so she might need some friends to help her get over her first crush when that happens.

So yes, it has been a busy first month for Ib, and I'm really pleased with her CR in game. Current plots include:

1. Possibly unintentionally joining Snow's group of spy students?
2. More questions on the wizard-muggle cultural gap.
3. Having a nightmare about her forgotten adventure with Garry and Mary.

If you're keen on more CR with Ib, post here and lemme know! I might be reeling her back a little though, because she's got so much happening for her as compared to my three other characters.

Rapunzel and her need to do more stuff, and Ted and Ib should get along, I'd think.

Master Shifu | Duelling Teacher

I've decided to hold back on posting Shifu's introduction (I think the school has had more than enough rules and discipline shoved in their faces for the time being) but as of now, he's just trying to get around the differences between his brand of teaching and the ones used by the other teachers. He still thinks the teachers are too soft on their students, unfortunately, so he's making plans to up the standards in his classes.

Socially, he's still pretty reclusive and he keeps to himself a lot.

Also, he's still trying to figure out how to work the journals. Confound this piece of new magical equipment! I may make a journal post with Shifu next week.

Future plots include:

1. Friendships with teachers?
2. A lot of antagonism between him and Dave Strider, oops.
3. Maybe starting a Tai Chi club!

I would really appreciate some positive CR for him, as I'd eventually like to have him be confronted on his flaws. Shifu's tendency to isolate and push people away will make this difficult, but it will pay off in the end when he's not such a harsh and uptight guy later on!

Maxim is definitely taking Dueling as an elective! Any way he gets to fight things is good by him. The only problem is that he maybe probably usually forgets that wizard dueling involves wands and will use his fists whenever he can. Or use his wand like a sword, that happens a lot too.

He is very good at fencing though, if that makes it any better? 8D??

Graham Specter ---c Gryffindor ---c 6th Year

ICly, Graham only arrived at school a couple of days ago, having gotten picked up by the ministry for brawling at the Quidditch World Cup. Although the Wizengamot ultimately chose not to expel him, it's safe to say that he's probably still under quite a bit of scrutiny. He's lost Quidditch privileges for the forseeable future, and if anyone has any other suggestions for the hot water he's currently soaking in, I'd love to hear them.

Since I just got back into the game, I am open to AAAANYTHING. The plots, I crave them like the sweetest candies~

I'd love Greg to join Leon's class, but he's a 5th year and he's not that fantastic at his studies, so he might not even qualify come 6th year. Could he still ask Leon for advice though? About Aurors and stuff.

I think I missed your OOC intro, so I'm going to suggest future plots and pre-established stuff, if that's okay.

Most of my characters are fifth years and probably know of Sherlock because... How can you not, with the crazy smartness and all? Baljeet is a fourth year and would love to work with him on something, but he's particular about rules, so... Melvin (Megamind) doesn't care about rules - though he'd perfer not going caught - but he'd be a bit stubborn to work with Sherlock. Probably begrudgingly respects him.

Merida and Sherlock is something I want more of. Always good to have more frustration.

Shinra Kishitani - Ravenclaw 4th
