Hello. My name is Gnome, and I am brand new to this game. 8> I'm a huge herp derp, so apologies in advance if I inadvertently say something dumb/offense. I try not to be, but my mouth/fingers work quicker than my brain. I'm also the headmod over at boarding, which isn't an exceptionally big game or anything, but hey, it's a thing that I do. I also draw. Not sure what else to say about myself in particular, other than I can be reached on AIM at themechanagnome, and my plurk is mechanagnome

Now, as to why I'm here... well, I'm playing this HUGE HORSEDICK named Equius Zahhak from the popular webcomic, Homestuck. He's normally a pompous noble alien, but for Sorting Hat, he is a pompous noble pureblood. He comes from a HIGHLY traditional family, so he's a bit messed up, socially speaking, and he really, really likes horses. Especially centaurs. I think that is the most important stuff? Anyway, likely, your character will not get along with him. Not many people do.

Oh, and he sweats a lot.

OH, and I hear some people don't like homestuck text. Equius types in a D --> Lovely shade of b100, replacing xs and x sounds with %s, and loo/ool sounds with 100/001
Let me know if this is not your cup of tea.

I should probably also mention that he is a 3rd year Ravenclaw from Germany. His accent tends to follow his typing quirk, meaning he over-emphasizes his loo/ool and x sounds. But mostly, he feels very STRONGLY that having an accent makes him sound uneducated/common, so he tries very hard not to do it.

I HAD WONDERED ABOUT THAT, oh Nepeta... Although that's probably not terribly weird among purebloods (at for purebloods like Equius). Gotta keep that bloodline STRONG, after all.

Well, Equius is in Ravenclaw so he won't be all hiss hiss, Gryffindor baaaaad. She probably was romping through the library during first years and Equius told her to keep it down? Which turned into Equius chasing her down, rough housing, and her declaring him fun, much to his surprise. Then she kept pestering him because he's just so funny, teehee, and Equius is all "ACT YOUR BLOOD STATUS!" even though he secretly enjoys it.

But someone has to teach her how to be a lady, gosh darn it. It'll never happen, but he has to try!

On her mother's side she's from a fairly prestigious pureblood family, so I can see him hounding her about acting properly! And THIS SOUNDS ADORABLE I think it's a great idea.

And, sob, yeah-- it's less weird to her than to him, because he was raised by Muggles and she's pretty educated in pureblood ways, at least indirectly. She gets pretty riled by blood supremacy because of her muggleborn family members, so she probably argues with Equius endlessly about that but loves him anyway. SHE CAN TELL HE'S A SOFTIE DEEP DOWN.

In any case, Karkat's had a very exciting love life lately and it's got her pretty shaken up, so... you up for threading a feelings jam sometime? I think she needs one badly enough that she'd tell him her deep dark kinda-incestuous secret. She's actually sort of hoping for his disapproval, if only because it means there will be someone urging her to get over him, and she wishes she could.

YES. Equius needs a feelings jam himself so bad, I haven't even been here a few days and Tavros has already sucked him into the relationship drama. x_x Also, it will probably get me caught up in what I need to know, since wow, it's all a beautiful mess. So far, all I really get is that Gamzee kisses all the boys, Tavros and Karkat got into a fight, and... that's it.

Also, mang, all these mugglebloods. I think I can throw up a post to start it up, I've kind of got an idea.
