HI SORTING HAT. It's Emely again, coming back for a (fourth?) time. This time I bring Meulin Leijon from Homestuck. She's a Hufflepuff, going on into her fifth year at Hogwarts. As in canon she is deaf but able to communicate via lip reading and sign language. She's calmer and more mature than she is in canon but still the hyper, fandom obsessed, shipper she is meant to be.

I've got a past cr post up on her journal for anyone who would like to plan out any sort of cr whether it be past, current, or for the future. You'll find some important notes there about her to give some ideas where our characters may have found common ground.

EVENT: Winds of Change

Spring is in the air, children. The weather is changing and though it's still fairly chilly, there's certainly a feeling of transition in and around the school. Of course, it's not limited to the halls of Hogwarts! Springtime is a big deal for many wizards, particularly those in a more..traditional sort of magic. When change is in the air, many witches and wizards will seek a voice of guidance to take them along the right paths. Past lives in particular offer a great deal of information many curious minds may delve into.

As such, many curious minds had gathered together in Hogsmeade for a brief but enlightening festival. Perhaps too enlightening for the students, as the professors seem quite keen to ban them from attending. This isn't your mother's carnival, my friends. This is a summoning festival. Many methods of magic are passed around and not all of them are quite as safe as one would hope.

On the final day of the festival a large seance was held between a considerable number of these funky wizards, enough to generate an incredible amount of magic between all of them. However, in an attempt to contact themselves from alternate universe, they managed to being about a wind of change more powerful than any of them had ever dreamed of. The effects spread throughout Hogsmeade and even made its way to Hogwarts, bringing about an incredible summoning enough to draw alternate selves from any realm.


In case the story fluff wasn't clear enough, this will be a CANON SELVES EVENT   running from the 20th to the 23rd of April!. The selves from an alternate universe will be your characters canon selves and bodies. So if your character is a crazy, green alien in canon? Yup. They can be a crazy, green alien. There will be varying effects, given that some characters are more volatile than others and obviously they are not free to wander about killing people. For example, Thor could be canon Thor. He could be buff and manly....and have the brain of 14 year old Thor. OR he could be 14 year old Thor with the brain of regular Thor. The possibilities are endless!!!!

Intro

Hi Sorting Hat, it's good to see you again. The name's San, though some of you will know me by my previous internet alias "Ming" and as the mundane behind Phil Coulson, Greg Lestrade, Ib, Feliciano and Rude from last year. I'm back with none of my previous brood, just a new character that goes by the name of Sun Jian from the hack-and-slash game about ancient Chinese generals shooting lazers out of their fans and doing death-defying leaps across waterfalls aka Dynasty Warriors. In this AU, he goes by the name Wesley Sun and he's going to be a Flying Professor at Hogwarts. His AU background can basically be summed up as a man who decided he wanted to be in the navy instead of a wizard. The Wizarding War required him to return to his village to protect the community from the Death Eaters and now that it's over he's decided that he'd like to pick a more family friendly job to be closer to his children, two sons who are both attending Hogwarts.

It looks like I'm in time for an event too so I do look forward to having fun with everyone here.
