Since we received so many apps for teachers, we decided for the convenience of those that have gotten in to post an open log here for all teachers to mingle.

We also wanted to use this as a place for new and old players to introduce themselves/their teachers, rather than having a flood of OOC intros. This way, hopefully no one gets missed! Feel free to chat around, tell a bit about your character, etc. Basically use this place for an OOC intro!

The mod team would also like to extend a warm welcome to any new players we received this teacher app cycle. Also thank you to the current players, because without you guys we wouldn't be afloat! We're really excited to have all these new teachers, so thank you all.

Inquisitor Snow

Sup, guys. This is James with his neeewest character, Coriolanus Snow from the Hunger Games. In canon, he is a ruthless dictator/president of Panem, though he hides it well. In canon, he's not afraid to kill people and does it quite a lot.

In Sortinghat he's not as murderous, though he's... murdered his fair share of people, mainly those who have gotten in his way.

He's very much someone who has to be in control all of the time, and if he gets a hint of rebellion, he isn't happy. So he's here to basically take control of Hogwarts while also trying to dig up dirt on Dumbledore to get him thrown off the Wizengamot.

Ingame, Snow is the High Inquisitor and also the Herbology teacher. HERE are his class signups.

More importantly, HERE are his Permissions. He's a Legilimens, and I really need everyone to post there to let me know what is and isn't okay for him to know.

Also some CR would be lovely!

OKAY SO WE GOT A LOT OF SHIT TO WORK OUT.

Since Rhys was a member of the Wizengamot for many years, I assume he knows Snow, or at the very least knows of them, so we should probably figure out what their relations are like? Rhys was known in his time to be both even-handed with regards to blood, but pretty brutal when it came to punishments he advocated - he was considered a pretty hardcore dude. He was also generally well-liked, or at least respected by his colleagues, though known for his odd sense of humor. He was NOT regarded in the way he seems to be by a few of the teachers now - people thought he was odd, but they were not generally suspicious of him or his motives, and he was kind of a big deal. I'm not sure what capacity Snow worked for the Ministry, though he seems to have been highly placed, too, so!
