This is a post where you can see how you're doing in the eyes of your fellow roleplayers. This can be how well you're playing your character, as well as playing in general.

1. You can post your character, their journal, and their canon in any way that suits you.

2. Be open minded, no one is above learning to be better, not even the mods.

3. Give some constructive criticism! Do it in journal or anon if you feel more comfortable. Absolutely positively no bashing and being unhelpful. On the other hand, don't take crit as a clue to OMG LEAVE AND NEVAR COME BACK or reason it all away as character development without listening to it. Improving is a good thing!

4. It's up to you to let people know what you think. This is your chance to tell people what you think of how they're playing, Even if you don't know the series, you can tell a player how you view the character based on how you've played them and they can compare it to canon. This can be in the form of, "Post moaaaar~" or "We never finish plots! :<" or even "You do a good job at following HP canon!"

5. This is NOT MANDATORY. It is however, HIGHLY encouraged for everyone to participate in. Sometimes it's helpful to get input from people who have seen you in action, so try not to be afraid of it. You might hear good things as well!

6. You guys are full of love, feel free to say that you like someone's character. Just do it constructively, give reasons why you like the character, no just "I love your Muse and you're the best one ever!" Everyone has room for improvement.

7. Please don't spam. We love you, but there are plenty of other places for that!

8. There is a mod hmd for crit regarding us specifically and a general game hmd for anything from "Too many of you are whores and you don't use enough British slang" to "We want more crack events '^'". So this is for general stuff you'd like to see in the game from fellow players (without pointing fingers) as well as how you'd like to see the game improve how its run.

I think one of the issues I see with this is, frankly, real teenagers are often sexual creatures. Not that they're all HAVING sex all the time, but there is a lot of talking about it, I remember from my own youth, and even moreso what I've seen nowadays. I understand that it can make people uncomfortable, and maybe we should have some sort of tag/warning system so people can avoid it if it bugs them, but it seems pretty unrealistic to say it shouldn't be played. The truth is, there are plenty of 15 year olds who will talk about sex with 12 year olds. It may not be in depth, and they may not be trying to HAVE sex with the 12 year old, but conversations do happen. It seems like it would be better to leave it up to the individual characters/players if they want to participate or not, and then institute some kind of tag or warning thing, so other players can choose to leave it alone.

Admittedly, maybe I'm a part of the problem. I obviously put up a whole post about masturbation. XD But at the same time, A LOT of people chose to participate, and I think in that case, it was pretty clear what it was about, that wasn't sneakily sprung on anyone. On the other hand, I would be totally happy to tag a post like that, put it behind a cut, whatever, so that people it does make uncomfortable don't have to deal with it. I'm not here to offend anyone or get in the way of their fun!

A tag system would work well, or warning cuts, like you did for the masturbation post. And nah, not part of the problem that I've... Noticed? Because I really am fine with discussion.

Well, I do play out sex ... no wait, I don't, but I probably would if given the opportunity. XD And I do have one character who
s very sexual and thinks about others a lot in that way, and I can see that making some folks uncomfortable, because he's a year older than his year mates. And I would be totally happy to maybe approach people privately more often to make sure they're okay with that, if that would be helpful, for sure.

Would that be Gamzee? I am pretty sure but I always get so nervous about being wrong when I guess things. XD ANYWAY, I mean, as one of the fourth years, I'd be fine with the thinking, I just wouldn't be fine with playing anything out although I. Don't see anything happening there BUT YKWIM.

It would indeed be Gamzee, Rhys is a teacher, and Herbert's still a little in the dark with his sexuality and wonders why anyone's every interested in that sort of thing, honestly, you people.

But yeah, the permissions posts do! So that may be a great point to talk about this, or maybe even include something specifically about sex? I know I'm pretty bad about checking those, myself, and need to get in the habit more.

If we do the tag system, it might actually work well as an ooc equivalent to the filters Van is trying to work on getting set up. So that's always an option!
