Captains!
Hey guys here's a Slytherin Captain app and the winners of the previous Captain poll! Your characters ICly know they are already on the team if they won the Captain position.
Gryffindor: Merida Dunbroch
Hufflepuff: Greg Lestrade
Ravenclaw: Tony Stark
Georgia Nicolson
Year: 5th
Position and Proficiency at it: Georgia has been a Chaser for a couple of years, and she's not only a great flyer, she isn't afraid to try unconventional tactics to score.
In-Game Reasoning for why they'd make a good captain: Of all the things about being a wizard that are lame, or just straight up mad, flying and quidditch are one of the few things (other than snogging) that get Georgia's blood pumping. It's fast, dirty, and people aren't afraid to savagely attack each other on broomsticks. As any good Slytherin, she thinks a bit of rule bending/spying can't hurt, and when it comes to Quidditch, winners get all the glory. In the past two years on the team, Georgia has watched Slytherin lose more than she likes, and she is tough enough to take charge of her team and show them the path to glorious victory.
Georgia knows enough strategy to use her teammates' strengths in their favor and she would make sure they could compensate for each other's weaknesses. PLUS, she likes being in the spotlight, and making Slytherin an All Star team is a part of that!
Canon Reasoning: Canonly, Sports is one of the few things at school Georgia actually enjoys, and despite her silly nature, Georgia is selected as Hockey team captain, due to her great playing and leadership. Her team wins best in the district, she knows how to use everyone to their strengths, and in contrast with her rival who always plays things by the book, she takes hits, trips, and will still score that final goal despite any odds.
When another team is in the locker room, she suggests to her (very scary and mustached) gym teacher that she offer to "treat them with her healing hands" thereby terrifying the other team into playing badly. She's the leader of her group of friends, and sticks with them through thick and thin, and would do the same for her teammates.
Also don't forget that now that school has started, you can start posting about clubs. Clubs are entirely player controlled. You guys make your own logs and such. Have at it guys, there are a lot of fun clubs to sign up for!
