Recap; January 16th - January 27th

Sub bubs, it's recap time!

Since last recap, Galen's incendiary remarks have continued to make waves among the students and staff, prompting several discussions on how much merit there really is to blood purity, and whether Dumbledore can expel someone for fighting words. Oh, and Galen and Kid each lost their house 50 points, putting Slytherin squarely in the negatives. SURELY THAT WILL HAVE NO EFFECT ON THE RAVENCLAW-SLYTHERIN QUIDDITCH GAME COMING UP THIS WEEKEND. Both teams have been training hard to face off on Sunday, and interhouse tensions are running high! It's even got the Gryffindor team excited; or at least Graham, who decided on a mass team purge to get some new blood in preparation for next month. But before things could get too tense, Yong Soo decided to wish everyone a happy lunar new year by infesting the school with ~~purple geckos~~ tiny dragons. That made everything fun again!

In administrative news, we want everyone to put in the effort to earn house points! Teachers, that means assigning homework. Students, that means submitting homework! And of course, points can always be doled out (and taken away) for other things as well. Also, don't forget to tag your posts!! Finally, there will be a fun event starting this Sunday, just in time for the quidditch match!

Karkat: ragged on Galen, had his journal be Accio'ed back and forth by the prick and Kid before he finally got it back, congratulated Amelia on scoring a boyfriend, freaked out about Hogsmeade being Valentine's weekend

Next two weeks: butterbeer ~~date~~ with Jade. might be in need of a feelings jam, unsure about anything else

Stitch: nothing! brand spankin' new

Rapunzel: Had an awkward confrontation with Billy, was upset with Galen, and got pumped for announcing. Also, showed that she does indeed put thought into Quidditch.

Next Two Weeks: Hopefully some secret-confessing to Cassie. Also announcing tomorrow! Other than that... I have no idea.

Melvin: Was both annoyed with and curious about Galen. Was supposed to meet him. |D

Next Two Weeks: Depends on how the Galen log goes down.

Wendy: Was all up in everyone's business, really. Also asked for book recommendations.

Next Two Weeks: I am not honestly sure.

Sokka: Came to be, posted twice already, tried to get his team PUMPED, because they are up against PUREBLOOD JERKS even though Sokka, stop being ridiculous.

Next Two Weeks: QUIDDY. Other than that, I am not sure. Probably some Azula drama. XD

Crane: Finally got that promotion to Head of Janus Thickey Ward.

Link: Had a slumber party with Gamzee in the common room, accidentally told Ellis how gay he is for Puck, made-up with Georgia now he's her sassy gay friend

Next two weeks; Forced to spend Valentine's Day with Amber

Stephen: Ditched Jude during the band meeting and then promised he'd hang out with her at Hogsmeade, talked to her about elephant paintings

Next two weeks; Band stuff, going to Hogsmeade with Jude on V-Day cause oops

Jackie: She wants to be the best cheerleader, hates lizards, trying to get Georgia to give up her bed

Next two weeks; Cheering for Puck at the Quidditch match, probably spending V-day alone

Chidori: She drew a lizard.

Next two weeks; No plans yet ' ^'

Botan: Was amused by Galen and surmised that he has daddy issues, promptly tried to cheer everyone up, somehow talking about pelting Galen with piss balloons with Amelia, Karkat and John while she was at it. Slightly sideeyeing Amelia for the mention of ever wanting to sleep with Graham.

Next two weeks: Idk, stuff

Cierra: RESPECT HER AUTHORITAH. Cierra had the teacher hat on this month! She scolded everyone for escalating the pureblood vs muggleborn talk, scolded Galen, broke up Kid and Galen's fight and completely owned said asshole Slytherin. She's very very tired right now :<

Next two weeks: Well she is going to be watching Galen to make sure he doesn't start more shit. And cheering on Ravenclaw at the Quidditch match since yaaay HoH. Other than that, idk.

Jade: Actually not that much, maybe she was sleeping.

Next two weeks: She's got a date :V other than that, I don't know what else

Maka: She completely flew off the handle with Kid and now she's in kind of an inconsolable state? Her state of denial is being stretched preeeeetty hard right now to accommodate all that self-hatred she still has.

Next two weeks: These be awkward waters we're coming upon.

Xion: LIZARDS ATTACKED HER. Also she might have kind of sort of befriended Vriska in that subordinate/master way, whoops.

Next two weeks: Dunno :V

Kid: Holy fuck. Okay, so Kid got into a fight with Galen, Cierra broke it up and disapppppoint Mama. He lost them 50 points and felt bad about it, but honestly does not feel bad about fighting Galen. :V! Some people congratulated him, some were disappoint, but the worst was Maka, who is pretty upset with him right now. ;; He talked to Karkat about why he fought, and then him and Galen had a tug of war with Karkat's journal. GROW UP, GOD. Right now he's trying to focus on quidditch. :|b

Next two weeks: Post quidditch shit, probably making up with Maka. FEELS? OTHER STUFF?

Georgia: ~~I play other characters?~~ She made up with Link! Things are good now, ayup. She's been getting pumped for Quidditch but kind of staying away from that blood purity stuff. However, she's kind of :| at Purebloods on the whole right now. Kind of keeping away from those who she doesn't know already. But she was grossed out by the lizards, and is not giving Jackie her bed. :|

Next two weeks: QUIDDITCH. And idk, getting ready for spending Valentine's Day alone.

Amelia: Tried to get Puck to play bludgerball ~~and maybe other stuff~~ with her because Ellis is kind of... not good. At it. But then SOMEHOW things got complicated! And Puck was a douchebag and she is totally innocent. And then Ellis asked her out, so now they're dating. And Toris is already talking about marriage. Toris what is wrong with you.

Also discussed pee balloons with Botan, offered to teach Melvin to duel properly in exchange for large amounts of chocolate, flirted with Graham, and talked to Ellis and Applejack about Americaaaaaa.

Mami: Suggested that Vriska might not have entirely innocent motives for wanting to help muggleborns. (Gosh, what could have given her that idea?) And thought a lot about how to protect the nonmagical society from evil witches '^' Because who best to do a job like that than someone with her feet in both communities?

Twilight: Lost Spike and was pretty upset about it, especially when Vriska told her she may have (accidentally!) turned him into goo. But it turned out he wasn't goo-- Yancy had just kidnapped him to unleash Spike clones on the castle! So that was interesting. She feels like it's partially her fault for letting him get away from her in the first place.

I don't have any particular plans for any of them in the coming weeks, so I am open to all the things!

Rose: Attempted to psychoanalyse a death eater and got promoted from casual observer to chaser on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team just in time for the match on Sunday. She also lamented the loss of her underwear in the ensuing Spike Infestation with Rarity.

Next two weeks: Dealing with the fallout of the Quidditch match, probably... but I'll be on hiatus so I'm not sure, but ideas for stuff to do when I get back would be great.

Azula: Was a bitch and got another point deducted from Slytherin for calling Amelia a floozy (oops). She used lizards as festive little fire crackers because they make delightful popping sounds, and sent Uncle Iroh some semi-dangerous mooncakes from home.

Next two weeks: Hiatus as well, but if you have any helpful ideas of how I can be more of a bitch that would be awesome.

~ GECKOS EVERYWHERE fortunately she likes Spike... unfortunately he likes her undies.
~ That's basically all she talked about oops.

I don't have any plans!!!

Cassie made a list of things to do with Gecko's. She's been jelly/passive agressive at Jude for stealing the man she broke up with.

For future plans, hopefully dorm secrets with Punzie. She's going to be charming phrases on heart candies for valentines day because she aggravated/sad and doesn't know why. So, if anyone wants forever alone heart candies, Cassie will personally deliver some.

I also want shenanigans to happen, idk. We need more detention, or something.

Ivan hasn't done much yet. New to the school after break. Gave Puck some house points for being a decent person about the blood purity nonsense. Mostly my fault he's not done a lot because I've been working on Moriarty's app and getting ready for/going to a con this past weekend.

Next two weeks; nothing planned officially yet - will assign homework, probably (sign up for his claaaaaaass), and more cr? owo? Scheme with me, I don't biiiiiiiite.

Gamzee made crazy banners for the Quidditch match, hung out with Link in the Slytherin common room and did a slumber party thing, possibly sharing alternate sexuality woes? Who the hell knows. Told Karkat to get his head out of his ass and ask Jade out, and got turned down by Tavros because Tavros also has a thing for Jade.

Next two weeks ... man, I don't even know. Probably just kind of kick around the castle being confused by all the shit people are writing. And possibly having to comfort a moping Eridan.

Comments here now because NEW CHARACTER...!! This is mostly a CR shout out since I've been kind of not here lately.

TORIS: I haven't done too much with him just yet, except for a couple of posts due to an extended hiatus. I'd love to get him more CR! I don't have too much planned for him except that Valentines Day is coming, so he has to be cluelessly optimistic at his beloved.........

CHOCOLAT: NEW ONE HERE! Second year Gryffindor, going to be on the Quidditch team (hopefully yeah??), and her app is here for additional personality and stuff.
