Plotting!

Well then, this is a plotting post for all your plotting needs.

Even if your character isn't participating in the event, you can use this post for plotting in general. Future shennanigans, establish past CR, whatever your plotting needs, this post is for you as well.

Remember, your character has roommates and people in the same year they should have some familiarity with! Use the character chart to see who your character has been sharing a room an/or classes with, and poke everyone you can! Make sure you include information to help everyone establish some past CR with your character, and remember, the rumour mill is still going, so...

1. Make a thread for each of you characters. Do them separately and use subject lines for easy searching. Include their House and current year, that way you can catch anyone else they should know.
2. Tag the rumor thread with rumors for your characters only, unless you got the okay to include someone else.
3. Tag around to see if anyone is interested in plotting!
4. Quidditch Season is about to start, so there'll be a lot going on! House rivalry, betting pools, there's a lot of possibilities!

Constance Peixes | Astronomy Professor

First up! Either late tonight or early tomorrow, depending on how quick I can dig up pictures of how the Orionids are looking in Scotland this year, a backdated meteor shower-watching log is going up with her. Anyone's welcome to come Portkey along with her! I'm hoping it'll be a chance for some low-key interaction with her in her element as a teacher.

Now, more stuff to use for plotting:

- anyone around her has probably figured out she has, for the most part, been extremely tense over the past two months or so.
- this can be blamed on the combination of the approaching Matteris/Donoghue wedding and the sudden arrival of Inquisitor Snow.
- the former because of Complicated Unresolved Feelings and the latter because she thinks Snow wants to have her sacked.
- what this means is that she kind of needs a means of dealing with it that isn't 'becoming a workaholic', because that defeats the purpose of taking time to teach and spend time with her daughters.
- this is where teacher CR could come in really, really handy. :c

- where student CR could be lovely: reminding her that she really does have a passion for her work that can and does show. because she does. :c

So yeah. Basically: I feel like she needs CR that's different from what she has, because she needs to branch out and she needs to branch out badly.

I still really like Coulson and Constance CR. They seem to click, to be honest and I'd like the two of them to become friends. If it's fine with you, would you mind if he asked her how she's doing sometime?

Also, for students....I think she and Ib would get along, tbqh. I'm thinking that for the meteor shower thing, Ib's going to do a beautiful picture of it outside what she's doing for the assignment, and she'll be giving that to Constance as thanks for letting her draw some parts of her report out. Ib's going to be having a very sad Shade plot too, so if you'd like Constance to step in to help her, that'd be awesomesauce~

Rose Lalonde | Slytherin Fourth Year

-HBIC of the Masquerade tea party coming up on the 26th. It'll be open and everyone may mix and mingle and hopefully some new CR will be formed over it!
-She's a budding seer
-Officer for the Cursebreaking Club
-Likes to knit
-Has a cat
-Plays the violin
-Has been recently really getting her hands into different languages, specifically in Eldritch
-Kind of sassy

Rose is a small bit of Veela and she's also basically the token poster girl for what a Slytherin is. She's kind of purposely arrogant and a huge know-it-all. I'd love to get all kinds of CR with her as she can go either positive or negative with her personality. She loves shoving her nose into things and she kind of makes it her job to be some psychoanalyzing flighty broad. Despite that, she honestly means well. She's just blunt.

This month has been fairly tiring for her honestly, with stress from all sorts of places and the cherry on top with the upcoming mod event. She'll probably be uncharacteristically quiet.

Man, I think we discussed this at the HMD? I really want Punzie and Rose CR, and I think there's some other characters that could be interesting with her. Melvin would have really negative CR with her, for a start at least.

Tess Mercer - Potions Teacher

- She teachers Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
- Head of House for Ravenclaw.
- She's American and attended Salem's Witches Institute. If your character is American and went there, it would be good past CR.
- She worked at Luthor Potions under Lex Luthor before coming here. He pushed the idea of teaching on here after the war because she would tell him all the shit going on over in the UK. He's also her brother but only he knows that.

I feel like all the American teachers need to have a get-together one day. As for past CR, I'm keen for that as well so long as the years match up! How old is Tess? Coulson's 39, so would it be possible that they were at Salem at the same time?

Natasha Romanoff - Third year Ravenclaw

Natasha has a good amount of CR with people within her house, but I'd like some CR with more female characters. There aren't many in fourth year and under, but older character CR would be awesome as well. She's got a start off with Usagi, they're study buddies.

Katniss Everdeen - Sixth year Slytherin

Katniss is reclusive. Being persistent or annoying is a good way to get on her good side. She has a soft spot for younger students, she likes taking care of them.

I'll admit that I'm not sure what Katniss and Greg are at this point, but I like the threads they've had so far. I don't really see them as friends yet, but maybe in the future they could develop more CR together?

Shinra Kishitani - Ravenclaw 4th

Has been dating Gamzee Makara for about a month and that's all still very exciting and deep and meaningful to him because relationships are very serious business.
He has also been looking after Zazzerpan the goat, showing up at various club meetings, attempting to engage in spirited discussions about the human spleen and encouraging Thor to realize his potential as a seer.

Any plans for these two? I like how they're becoming good friends, and I'm still keen on having her eventually discover that Shinra's with Gamzee. It would be sad, but I think that she'd get over it if he had a serious talk with her about feelings and etc.

He's going to be involved in co-leading/mediating/doing something or other for Rapunzel's support group, so if your character's also going to be involved in that, we should talk.

He's also periodically freaking out over the possibility of goat parasites. And talking about cats.

He's been doing relatively well at Hogwarts. He still feels a bit out of place even in his sixth year - his mom insisted on sending him to Hogwarts as it's further away from the comforts of home, and she figured it would be good for him. He's quite well-adjusted by now, but still sort of detached on some level.

He also has occasional bouts of insecurity about whether or not he belongs in his house because he's not very driven. (He is however a master at making connections for his benefit so he absolutely belongs there...) But if anyone wants to fuel this insecurity, please feel free.

HE COMPOSES. I am totally open to people bugging him to write music for them!! He may or may not comply depending on the request, but this would be a nice plotting point!

And on the shippy end of things he still feels pressured by his mom to get with his best friend Elizaveta, whom he is in total denial of falling for. Please feel free to tease him about this, I never get tired of it. >_> okay that's not entirely true but it's hard for me to get tired of it ok

Sherlock Holmes | Ravenclaw 6th year

Other than meeting John and "stalking" people, I don't have much going on with him. Some Greglock confusion eventually but overall just being a creeper and poor student.

I'm interested in just general CR, really. He's not quiet about his deductions nor shy to insult.

Weird halfblood kid who grew up in the circus so is kind of. Rly quirky. Raz is the guy you can catch jumping gaps in the moving stairwells, sliding on rails, and doing other ridiculous shit so he's not late to class.

He's super friendly and will talk to pretty much anyone that's not a jerk. If you're a jerk he'll just sass you back, or let you know he's not going to put up with you being a jerk (to other people, he doesn't care if it's at him).

Fav class is DADA, but he's good in Transfiguration and Charms. Balls out awful at Potions, help.

- Resolved things with daddy dearest only to see that like a bit later his mazing older brother decided to move his butt in to torment his life to finish schooling. Though he's still a little bit bitter over everything he's not as bad as he was.
- Currently going through a bit of speech therapy off-screen and in secret. its seriously hush hush no one should know about it he can sorta speak words with v's and not make them w's now its really cute, but he hides it around most people so no ones like ?_? what are you doing....
- Mixed feelings about a certain someone wow.

Friends, Enemies, Frienimes. Something like that. I love strengthening CR, but I'd also like to branch out a bit. He's a bit harder to branch out though because he's a picky brat who only gets involved with things that actually interest him. Nothing really planned for him at the moment, since I'm still flip flopping if I want him to be involved in the upcoming event of Mabel.

Since she's newly apped, I'd like to establish CR and all, since she's seriously incredibly outgoing and has talked to the whole school most likely at some point or something. Probably made friends with a bunch of people or annoyed them because she's a real.... glass half-full thinker. :')

He has sort of been hanging around, somewhat chatting with Coraline over the matter of ghosts and their existence with some desire to find out. Losing his book has sent him off on a magical adventure of where he loses money to pay Ka Lung as a thank you for finding the book. And then he has met Melvin in a bookshop and they talk about...yeah, books.

- he's not one for nonsense, really
- enjoys reading possibly because his Norwegian father is somewhat of a writer
