You know, I don't think he honestly cares about living forever? Nor does he want immortality for himself. He just wants to have the thrill of having beaten the unbeatable, I think. "I CONQUERED NATURE ITSELF MUAHAHAHAHA" kind of thing.

... wait, how old is Marshall? I thought he was still school age?
